An innocent old man put the ass in the field. He heard the roar of the enemy soldiers. Being frightned the old man told his ass – “Run they may not be able to catch us.”

The ass might, not heard his master’s teachings. He stiil chewed the grass. Then he said, “Why shall I run? If they get me, will they put more weight on my back?” “No, No, I did not think so.”

“Then I have to bear the burden, so I may not mind whose burden I am carrying.”
