The liar shepherd – Aesop’s Fables

Ashepherd went to the grass-yard. He went with his lambs. The-grass yard was by he side of a forest.

One day he shouted – ‘tiger, tiger’. The farmers were working near by. They came with weapons. Looking at them, the shepherd laughed loudly.

He used the same tricks on many days. The farmers came and went away.

One day a tiger jumped on the lambs. He ate one after another lamb. The shepherd cried hard. Nobody came to help him.

At last the tiger jumped on the shepherd and killed him immediately.
